How I use 1Password
Recover accounts for family or team members
1Password remembers all of your passwords, even if they’ve been changed. Even after you’ve updated a password, you can still access it in 1Password. Select an item and hover over the password on Mac/Windows/Linux; then click and select “View password history”. iOS: Tap Previously Used Passwords to view them.
The following article explains where they’re kept, but to discover them quickly, open 1Password, go to the Help menu, select Preferences > Backup tab, then click the Show Files button. That will take you right to that area on your Mac.
1Password keeps old versions of items whenever you make changes, so you can revert them with a 1Password membership. You may also restore things when you archive or remove things.
Open all of the standalone vaults you want to move: go to File > “Open vault on this PC.” Select Help > Tools > “Migrate standalone vaults to account,” then click Continue. Confirm the number of items, attachments, and tags to be transferred before clicking Move Data.
When you log in to your 1Password account on the internet, you may select from several accounts easily. However, it’s preferable to add them to the applications where you can view all of your data at once. You can do so by:… Switching over to a specific account to review just those items.
Now that you’ve created your password, it’s time to go through and remember what each of them means for your particular situation. On the left-hand menu, click Export All Items. Select File -> Export All Items from 1Password; set a name for the file (it can be anything), save it to a specific location on your computer or device, include column labels if desired, and export format (CSV). Click Save.
