Minecraft PS4 Microsoft Account Confusion RAGE!!
When you see this error message, it implies that a different Microsoft account is already linked to your PlayStation Network account. Because the Microsoft Account you’re attempting to use is already linked to another PSN ID, follow these steps to link the PSN™ ID to a different Microsoft account.
It’s not necessary to have a Microsoft account to play Minecraft on PS4, although you will be able to crossplay with players on other non-PS4 consoles or devices, such as iOS, Android, Xbox One, Switch, and Windows 10 if you have one.
Start by turning on your PS4 and PS5 consoles, which should be connected to the same network using WiFi or LAN connections. On your PS5 system, go to Settings > System > System Software > Data Transfer > Continue. Select the PS4 you wish to transfer data from.
To remove your profile, click the “Account Settings” option. Under the “My Account” menu tab, select “Delete Account.” On the account settings page, scroll all the way to the bottom and choose “Learn how” under “Delete Account.” This will generate a notification asking you to provide your email address if you click this button.
Select File from the upper left corner of the Outlook window. Select Account Settings > Account Settings in the drop-down menu. Next, choose the account you wish to remove, then hit Remove. You’ll be warned that all offline cached material for this account will be removed.
