How do I cancel my GoDaddy domain?

1. Log in to your GoDaddy Domain Control Center.
2. Check the box next to the domain(s) you’ll be deleting.
3. Select More then Delete.
4. Confirm the domains being deleted.
5. Check the box next to Yes.
6. I consent to delete the selected domains.

Log in to your GoDaddy account and find the Domains tab. Locate the domain whose registration you wish to cancel: Click on the name of the domain that you want to cancel and then click Cancel Registration at the top-right corner of the page. Select one of these options as appropriate for your situation: If you are canceling a Domain Privacy Protection (DPR) registration, select Remove my private whois information from this domain – this is required before we can update our records with any new registrar to return your domain back into the public whois database.
