- In the Selling.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Find the eBay Shop in the list.
- Click Unsubscribe.
eBay has certain minimum requirements for a seller account if you want to close it. If your account does not meet these standards, you can’t close the account until it meets them. After 60 days of closing your old account, it will be permanently closed and can’t be reopened. You’ll need to open a new eBay seller account if you want to buy or sell items again.
To request an account closure, go to your Settings and click “Close Account”. You will then receive a confirmation email once your account has been closed.
You can cancel your seller account on eBay by going to the “Account” tab at the top of the page and clicking “Selling Preferences.” From there, you can select “Cancel Account.
You can’t close your eBay account because you may have some purchases that are still pending or unpaid. You need to either pay them or cancel the purchase before you can close your account.
eBay will delete your account and all of your information. This includes any items you have listed, any bids you’ve placed, and any feedback you’ve left for other users.
To close an eBay account, you just need to go to “My eBay” and click on the “Close Account” link. This will take you to a page where you can select your reason for closing your account. You can also choose to have any feedback or comments removed from your account before it’s closed. Closing your account is permanent, so once it’s closed, there’s no way to reopen it.
You can close your eBay account at any time with no time commitment or minimum selling requirements; however there are some exceptions: Marketplace Seller Accounts – Please note that Closing an Open marketplace seller account with a balance due requires all outstanding amounts to be paid before closing. If you are still within your monthly free storage quota, this will be removed along with any unused portions of the fee credit in your account after closure. To prevent losing credits in your account, please remove them before closing it.
If you are no longer interested in using eBay, but would still like your personal information removed from the site, you’ll need to contact us. To ensure the integrity of other eBay members, we remove information only when a member is no longer using the site. If you have made any purchases on or through eBay, your name, address, and credit card information will remain in our records until the statute of limitations has run for that transaction – generally, this means two years from the purchase date.
