Answer
- Tap the Settings.
- Go to Accounts and Passwords.
- Tap on the email account
- Tap Delete Account
- Go to Delete from My iPhone.
How to delete email account on iPhone 8
Deleting via Settings App:
Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone 8. Tap the “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” option on your phone. This opens the Account section of the Mail, Contacts, and Calendar settings app. Scroll down a little bit until you find the account that you want to delete or even multiple accounts that you want to remove at once. Press the icon beside each mail account that you wish to remove. When done press the home button to go back to the Home screen of your device and wipe away all apps viewable there including the Settings app. When you are back at the Home screen after 3 seconds open Settings again. You will see the Account section of the Mail, Contacts, and Calendar settings app with only the account that you deleted before showing up there.
Deleting via Apple Mail App:
Open the “Mail” application on your iPhone 8 Press the Gear icon to open the Settings menu in the Mail app Tap “Accounts” option Find email account that you want to remove or multiple accounts that you want to delete and select it by pressing small circle next to it If this is a single account then press Delete button from Accounts menu, otherwise choose multiple accounts by tapping Edit button below the main window of Apple Mail app Once done just tap Done button at the top right corner of the window to finish and save changes.

From a Home screen, navigate Settings. Tap Accounts.In the ‘ACCOUNTS’ section, tap an email account. You will see a Switch to button, scroll down to Delete Account, and confirm by tapping on it.
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app. Select the Menu and next to the account, that you would like to remove select Remove. Confirm your choice if asked by selecting Done on top left corner of screen
Open Settings. Scroll down and select Mail > Accounts. Choose the email account you want to remove. Select Delete Account on your phone, or tap “Delete from My iPhone”
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app. Then in the top right, tap your profile picture. Next tap Manage accounts on this device and then finally Remove from this device.
To close your account, select Change mailbox sync settings. Under Email turn to Off and then click Done > Save.
