How do I delete my 2022 YouTube account?

Once an account has been deleted, a user is required to wait 48 hours before creating another 2020 YouTube account. This 48 hour period allows our Anti-Abuse Team time to assess whether or not a newly created account is related to previous accounts that were removed/deleted from the site.

Tap on your profile picture in the top-right corner of your screen. Select Manage Your Google Account. Step 2: Tap on Data and Personalization. The third option under the section labeled Download, Delete or Make a Plan for Your Data is to delete a service or your account if you wish to do so.

If the channel is deleted, you may not see it happen right away. Your YouTube account will likely be officially deactivated after 30 days.

YouTube has the right to terminate any account at any time when it is not making money for them as explained in their Terms of Service.

YouTube channels can be set to “private” status by going to the Account Dashboard and clicking on your account name. From here you’ll see an option for Privacy where you can choose between Public, Unlisted or Private. Once your channel has been set to private we will not be able to assist with gaining access so it’s important that users remember their log-in information and keep it safe from prying eyes!

In the top right corner of the screen click on the icon that looks like an “account” with a silhouette of a person. This will bring up your Account Dashboard where you can manage all aspects of your YouTube experience. From here, click on the button titled “Sign Out” in the right corner. This will prompt you to sign out of all devices associated with your account.
