- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to MyAccount.Google.com.
- Click on “Delete your account or services” under Account Preferences.

To make sure that no emails are missed when adding an address, open Settings > Accounts & Import > Add another email or phone number > add the second address then go back into settings and remove the old ones. You’ll now receive all emails in both inboxes so there’s less chance for confusion about which is where a reply needs to be resenting from.
If after deleting an email address you find out that there’s no way back and want to undo what you’ve done, then you’re out of luck. If you go to the settings for your Gmail account and select “Add An Email” from the menu, then you’ll be able to add a new email address that will replace one or more existing ones on your account.
Open the Google Account Settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/privacy. Under “Your personal information,” click on the box next to “Email.” Select “Alternate emails” or “Advanced” from the drop-down menu under “Alternate Emails” To delete an alternate email, select it and then click the trash can icon next to it.
