On your iPhone, open Safari. Go to the Delete Your Account page. Log in to your account using your login information. Select the reason for deleting your account from the drop-down menu. Re-enter your password if necessary. Confirm by clicking “Permanently delete my account,” then again to finalize the deletion process.
Open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device and go to your profile. Select Settings from the three lines in the top-right corner. Unlink an account by tapping Login Info. Tap Remove next to the account you wish to disassociate with.
It’s worth noting that deleting your account is irreversible. All of your images and account data, including likes, comments, and followers, will be permanently deleted if you remove your account. If you ever create another account, you won’t be able to use the same username because all of your data will be removed.
There is no such thing as a time limit in and of itself. We understand that you may deactivate your Twitter account for 30 days before being forced to reactivate it, or else your account will be permanently deleted. You can keep your Instagram profile dormant for as long as you like, whether it’s 10 months or 10 days.
