The first step is going to https://account.live.com/*UPDATED LINK* select the “linking or unlinking” option on the right side of your screen… this should display a list of all accounts registered under your Microsoft Account. Select the one that you want to remove and click “unlink”. How do I get rid of my Microsoft account because it’s linked to everything now, and I accept that, but If I’m paying so much for these things under a local name and power, etc… then why do all have to be linked online via an email address? This seems a little extreme like having your own private area on the internet where people are contacting you with their real names, addresses, and phone numbers even though they’re meant to exist as profiles in social networks only.
