Как удалить аккаунт на Gmail в телефоне?
If you don’t use your gmail.com email account anymore and want to delete it instead of leaving it inactive, there’s a surprisingly quick way to do this through Android settings. To get started:
Launch the Settings app on your Android device from the Home screen or Apps drawer. You can alternatively navigate directly via ‘System settings’ if you prefer that option (Settings > System). * Scroll down and tap on ‘Accounts,’ then ‘Google.’ * Tap your name at the top to open your account settings. * Under the ‘Accounts’ and ‘Google’ sections, tap on ‘Manage Accounts.’ * You’ll see a list of all your accounts on Google. Scroll down to find the account you want to remove. Tap it once. * Scroll down under the “Data & personalization” section and tap “Delete Account.”

I can’t find “Manage Accounts” for my android tablet. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
This only works if you have an Android phone too, or a friend’s Android phone with guest mode turned on (screen is unlocked but no one uses the data or apps). Is your device rooted? You need root to be able to change the device ID and do some of these operations. Also if you aren’t sure where your google account email was synced (google+ calendar, contacts, etc…) you’ll have to check all apps and delete that sync data.
I really appreciate your efforts in writing such a delightful article on “how to get rid of my old Gmail account”…. thumbs up… keep updating. Javed Javed Khan. Thanks for sharing your knowledge…..it is very helpful..thanks once again.
I have a tablet with android os 4.0, I can’t find “Manage Accounts” in Settings > Account. Am I doing something wrong or it’s really not available for Android earlier than 4.1? It also doesn’t appear under “Google settings”, which is very odd… Could you give me a hint? Thanks!
For those who don’t already know, the “manage accounts” option was removed from newer versions of Android in 2012 due to privacy concerns. You can still create new Google Accounts on your phone, but you can no longer manage them through the settings menu. If this really bothers you though, there are some alternatives to consider: – you could try installing the officially unsupported Play Services Manager app by Goggle (it’s a bit buggy and feels like it might get taken down at any time). It lets you see which apps use your Google account data and remove these apps’ access to your Google account without deleting everything else from that Google account. You can also enable or disable some of the things like the sync it uses to do this without using a computer, which may make it easier for you if you don’t have access to one. – If your device is running Android 4.1 or higher and is rooted:
Thank you very much for these steps! I just successfully got rid of 2 old Gmail accounts! 🙂 Do you know how I can use my new Google Account in G+ now? All my contacts are there… Thanks again!
