You can delete your account by following these steps:
Go to the Instagram app on your phone.
Tap the profile icon in the top left corner of your screen, then tap “Settings.”
Scroll down and tap “Delete Account” at the bottom of the page.
Enter your password, then tap “Delete My Account.
To delete your Instagram account from your phone, you’ll need to log out of your account first. To do this, tap the profile icon at the top right of the screen and tap Sign Out.
Then, go to Settings on your phone and find the app that has “Instagram” in its name. Tap it and then tap Delete App.
This is a common problem, and it’s likely because your account is still linked to your Facebook account. If you’re logged into Facebook when you delete the Instagram app, then the app will continue to show up in your list of apps and in the settings menu. You can disconnect it by going to Settings > Apps > Instagram > Disable.
To delete your Instagram account, you must first log in to your account. Once logged in, tap on the settings icon on the top right of the screen.
