Remove An iOS Device from Your Apple/iCloud Account
When you remove your device from iCloud, it is removed from the list of Find My iPhone. Your old iPhone’s Activation lock is also disabled. When you take your iPhone out of iCloud, everything on it is erased. All of your data will be safe and secure after this procedure.
