How to Find Location History With Google

Tap the Google Maps icon and then select Start Here. On the top right corner, click your profile picture. Select Your Timeline from the drop-down menu. Tap Today to view a day in detail. You can decide what’s retained in your history. You may look at Google Maps Timeline and edit or delete your location history.
Open the Google Maps app. Select “Your Timeline” from the menu in the upper left corner ( ) Then choose “Settings and privacy” from the drop-down menu. Select “Location History” from the list, if it says “is on” or “is off.”
To access your Gmail account’s location data, go to maps.google.com/locationhistory and then press the “Get started” button at the top of the page. If you aren’t already logged in, you’ll be prompted to do so now. Then the Google location history page will appear onscreen.
Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner. The drop-down menu will appear. Select Sync from Settings > General > Location History. If your device has a passcode, type it in and then select Okay when prompted to confirm security questions or passwords. Tap on OK after making your selections and selecting Save at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down until you come across the Settings section; locate Section 5: Location Settings, and then scroll down until you find an option that says On (the default is Off).
