- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Enter a search term in the top search field.
- Check the box at the top of the search results to select all results on the page.
- Click “Select All Conversations” at the top of the search results.
- Click the “Delete” trashcan icon and confirm your selection, if prompted.

To select many e-mail messages in Gmail for Android, tap the tiny check boxes to the left of each message. If you miss the check box and press the message by accident, it will launch and you’ll have to return to the conversation list and try again.
If you have a lot of emails in your inbox, deleting them all at once might be difficult. If the emails you want to delete cover many pages, they must be found and deleted in separate steps.
Select Unread E-Mails. Select the blue Search button. To choose all of the messages, check the box at the top of the list. To delete all of them, click the trashcan icon and confirm.
Select the gear icon. Go to Settings. Locate Maximum page size under General. Select the number of emails you wish to display from the drop-down menu next to conversations per page. At the bottom of the screen, click Save Changes.
You’ll have to press and hold the Shift key instead of clicking a flashy button. Click the first email, keep holding down Shift, click the last email, and then hit Delete.
To permanently delete emails, be sure to empty Gmail’s trash. Because of their file attachments, these emails will take up a lot of space.
