The user that you plan to delete.
On the XMB.
Go to the User section at the far left.
Press Triangle to open a set of options.
Select Delete to remove the user.

Removing an old or unwanted PSN account on your PlayStation might seem like a daunting task. However, in under two minutes you will have removed that user from your system and saved room for new friends!

To begin, search “PlayStation Network” by using the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen. Click on “PlayStation Network” in the search results.

Next, click on “Sign In.” You will be prompted to sign into your account or create a new one by clicking “Create an Account”. If you have an existing PSN account that is not attached to any devices, select this option and enter your username and password email address. Otherwise, click “New User?” if you are creating a new user for your device.

With either of these options selected, complete registration details including first name/last initial; country; date of birth (required); gender (optional), then finalize the process with the following steps:

Select which languages are most comfortable for you from among English, Spanish, French and German.

Select the “Terms and Services” checkbox, then type your date of birth in the following format: YYYY/MM/DD.

Next, click on “Complete Sign Up.” You have now successfully logged into PSN as an existing user or created a new account for use with this device!
