Can I cancel Curology after free trial?

Curology offers a thirty-day trial period. While it is currently available only in the United States, Canada, France, and Great Britain – its availability will expand to additional countries in time. Medication shipments are sent out on a customized basis when the trial period ends based on your chosen subscription plan.

You can now cancel at any time and there are no further charges after your first box ships out. Once it does ship, the cancellation process will take 4 business days from then for recurring orders or 1-2 weeks if it’s a one-time order. We will send a reminder notice about canceling when the free trial period ends but that’s all we’ll do.

Note: All recurring orders are fully refundable until the April 8 update, including any shipping and handling fees. If you want to cancel after your first box ships out, please read our updated policy below. Please note that if you signed up with an email address from Gmail or Outlook (Hotmail), it might take longer for us to process your cancellation request than other emails because of how they filter spam/notifications. If you’re not getting a confirmation number when you click “Cancel Membership,” then you probably use one of those email services! So please keep an eye on your account for several hours after signing up. If you still can’t find your confirmation email, please email [email protected] with a screenshot of the confirmation number from your PayPal receipt and we’ll take care of it for you.

If I cancel, when will my remaining credits be applied to my account?

On April 8, with the launch of our new membership plans, we’ve also updated how credits work. The credit balance is now added before shipping (for most users) so that it can be used towards any box/product on Curology rather than just one specific type of prescription or formula in each category. The only exception to this is if there is an error in which case they will be credited afterwards. You can read more about credits in this post. Our shipping times have also been greatly reduced .

What happens to my credit card information if I cancel?

On April 8, we’ve updated our terms of service to reflect that we will not store or share your credit card information and that it will be deleted as soon as the box ships out. This is because you can now re-sign up for Curology at any time without having to enter your credit card number again so there’s no need for us to keep your billing information on file. This also means that you don’t have to worry about canceling and re-subscribing with a new email address in order avoid getting billed repeatedly. We do not pay any attention to what email account you use and you can sign up with a totally new email account if you wish. We have no way at all to identify previous accounts, so re-subscribing/re-signing up won’t do anything at all in terms of changing the billing details on your account. Why did Curology change its plans?

We spent a lot of time listening to feedback from many people using Curology since we launched in October 2014. We learned a lot about what to improve based on your comments and ideas! One example is that many of you requested lower cost levels for customers who aren’t seeing as much improvement as others. We noticed that some people were having problems because they didn’t see how the site worked before making a purchase. So we made several changes to clarify, simplify, and streamline the experience for all of our users.

How will this affect my account?

Your current credit balance (at checkout) will be added BEFORE shipping so it can be used towards any box or product in Curology rather than just one specific type of prescription/formula. For example, if you have a credit balance of $40 and add another $20 during checkout, your total with shipping is now $60 instead of $80. You can always enter any combination of credits and products during checkout but you will not pay for anything until after your box ships out.

What’s my credit balance?

If you have a subscription that is set to auto-renew, your account will be canceled the day before (March 31 at 11:59pm PST) so that we can make sure there aren’t any issues with shipping your box.

If you are enrolled in our new membership plan and would like to cancel, simply log into your Curology account here . To find this link, click on “dashboard” then “Your Products & Orders.” Once you’re logged in, scroll down towards the bottom of the page to where it says “Cancel Subscription.” From there you’ll see the option to cancel or reschedule your membership! You can also find this link on the “Your Products & Orders” page under “Products.”

What if I forgot to cancel in time?

If you forget to cancel your subscription, we will send an email (to the email address associated with your account), before it renews. If you don’t see this email and cannot access your account, please contact our customer support team here .

Disputes and Cancellations

Something I bought from Curology wasn’t what I expected. Can I return it? What about a refund or exchange? We allow returns for unopened subscription boxes submitted on or before March 31st by 11:59 PM PST within 10 days of your order’s ship date. After March 31st, no returns will be accepted unless the item is defective (which must be determined by us). You can reach our customer support team here . I want to cancel my membership plan but don’t know how. Where do I start?

If you’re using a desktop computer (not your mobile device) to cancel, go to www.curology.com/account from the browser you used when you made your first purchase. Log into your account and scroll down towards the bottom of the page until you see “Cancel Subscription.” From there, simply follow the steps and confirm that you’d like to cancel before March 31st!

Can I use my Box Credits toward a product on sale or one of Curology’s featured products? Absolutely! While we could always use your credits towards any box including future boxes along with any full-size products that are currently available on our site, we also wanted more flexibility in how you choose to spend your Box Credits. So, we will allow you to enter any combination of credits and products during checkout so that you can get the most out of your boxes and credits.

How do I use my Box Credits?

If you have a subscription, just check out as usual like always! Your credits will automatically apply at checkout **before** we charge for shipping. For example: if you have 15 Box Credits ($30 credit) on March 31st but are checking out with an order totaling $50, you would only be charged for a total of $20 (or whatever was left over from your $50 order after the credits were applied). Please note that this is how all future orders will work, whether or not they contain Box Credits.

How do you charge my credit card for the box I just ordered? Your subscription will be charged when your order is shipped, on a recurring basis every 28 days. The credit card that you used during checkout will become your default form of payment and will continue to be charged every time your order ships until you cancel. How do I use coupons or promo codes? During checkout there is a space where you can enter your code(s) before proceeding to “Pay Now”. After clicking “Next” on this page, please scroll down until you see “Enter Promo Code” on the right hand side of the screen. There, you should see blank spaces for up to three coupon codes that fit below each other.

Your coupon for $20 off a 3-month plan is only valid with the purchase of 3 boxes! Why?

When we designed our plan options, it was so that we could offer several ways to get your products for less and make it more accessible to our customers. As you may have noticed, each individual product is subject to an additional handling fee of $8 when paying by credit card (shipping charges are already included as part of the price). This means that if you just purchased 1 box from Curology, you’re actually going to be spending over $32/box ($15 + $8 fees). We structured this promotion in such a way that you will not save any money on a single box.
