To delete your MeetMe account, log in at meetme.com with your email address and password, click on the Settings button in the top right-hand corner of the page, and select “Account” from the drop-down menu. From there you can either delete your iPhone or Android app account separately by navigating to Settings within that corresponding application
The most popular social networking site Meetme.com has a policy to delete inactive accounts (profiles) after three years. The profile can be deleted anytime by the user, but MeetMe retains your images and chats until you delete them yourself. This information is stated in the Terms of use page . But this policy does not apply to moderators or members who are important for the community operation – administrators, history makers etc.
About those who are very important for functioning of certain groups: about 20% users from each group which number exceeds 100 people will remain there forever as “history makers”. If you are a member of such group then it means that you’re also one of “historymakers” and your account won’t be deleted even after 3 years.
About group moderators: chat moderators, admins and super administrators won’t be deleted. For example if a moderator’s account becomes inactive (the user doesn’t have access to the account or has not visited in 3 years) then his/her moderation status will be temporarily transferred to another moderator of the group. In this case there are no limits for how many “history makers” can remain in each group – it depends on number of users who can be considered as historymakers by MeetMe arbitrary decision. At the same time MeetMe deletes all groups where less than 0.1% of members were active during past 30 days .
There is an unofficial information that MeetMe deletes accounts after 2-3 months if the user has not visited his/her account during this period.
Meetic claims that it deletes inactive accounts. See eDarling article for more details .
