CONSUMER ACTION ALERT: Does T-Mobile collect your text messages?

Let me explain. There is an opt-out for this service that T-Mobile has provided, but it’s not clear and almost impossible to find unless you know what you’re looking for. I have looked at their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, as well as various other terms related to this issue and cannot find anything that specifically states that they do or don’t capture/save my text messages sent or received from their network. As a consumer I believe it is my right to decide whether or not my text messages are saved by my carrier – NOT the other way around! So beware of T-Mobile. They may have access to your text messages and you might just not know it!

To opt out of this service:
