how to delete your apple id account permanently

I don’t need my Apple ID anymore because I never use it. I can just sign in with my Gmail or Facebook password instead.I might have to upgrade to iOS, and I want a new Apple ID. If I ever plan on buying an Apple product again, then this new Apple account will be good.

I’ve been trying to find out how to remove everything and start over for a while now without any luck. To me it seems simple: click ‘remove all info’ right? But there’s no such thing! The only way I see is you have to reset your phone by pressing the home+power button at the same time but that doesn’t sound like something that’s desired if possible. Or maybe there’s another way to do it? Or is there a way to remove all the photos and other information, but keep my Apple ID for buying apps and OS upgrades?

Edit: if possible I’d like to delete EVERYTHING – that includes emails, contacts (even though there’s not much), calendar events (because they are at my dad’s house which has iCloud too :\), etc. All this time I’ve been searching the internet for a solution but no luck… If you know how to do it, please tell me! Thanks in advance! [/EDIT]\

The iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store can only be accessed with an Apple ID. You can delete content from these stores linked to your account through the respective store while viewing the purchase history or on your computer in iTunes when you sync your device. Other personal content such as contacts are stored with iCloud and must be managed there. However, if both you and someone else share an iCloud account after removing your information it is possible for others to still see it.

Also, please note that you cannot reactivate any of the above services related to that Apple ID once they are deactivated. It is important to consider this before proceeding and make sure you understand the risk of doing so.

How to Remove Apple ID From iPhone without Password

This article is a little bit misleading because you can’t go through iCloud or any other service, just iTunes Store, etc. So after digging around a bit more it seems like you have to do it from your phone… But NO! After entering all my credentials again on my iPhone (I didn’t remove anything) now I’m stuck with having two Apple IDs and find no way to merge them together?! How can I fix this? Erase everything and start over? But I have a lot of apps I’ve bought and also Apple Music (which is useless without my account).

I tried to restore my iPhone 6s back to factory settings but every time it gets stuck at the iTunes logo. So that’s not working either… At this point, I’m done with Apple products. It seems like they don’t care about their customers or allow them to delete their stuff, like photos, etc. from iCloud or even your device in case you want to sell it, etc. I haven’t found any way yet how to get rid of everything connected with your Apple ID so far. It’s very annoying, especially considering there are no alternatives for iOS devices in terms of quality/design, although Android has been getting better lately.

It’s funny I’m even writing you this long and complaining tweet/email because last week I thought about switching to an Android phone LOL. Even though Apple products are high quality with a nice design, they really frustrate me due to their services / online stuff, etc.. Funnily enough, my friends who have Android phones actually like them (I went over a couple of times) and said the same thing – “That’s what we do if we need anything”. It seems like everyone is dissatisfied with their devices, iOS or Android but for different reasons… Maybe that’s why one should buy a PC instead! :)))) Also, I’ve heard Windows 10 isn’t all bad either 🙂

Score: 5 / 5 Hi, I still haven’t found a way how to do this without resetting my iPhone 5s and starting over… It’s very annoying because it takes ages to sync all the apps on your phone. Maybe someone of you knows how to solve this issue? Updated: 2 months ago Reviewer: Thanasis G. Score: 0 / 5 Sorry for the late reply… At least I found a solution! It’s a very easy one actually… I just erased all content and settings on my iPhone and then set it up as new. Then finally I connected my phone to iTunes and voila everything is back again! Thanks, Apple, love you in spite of (or maybe because of) everything! As for your services, they’re not so bad after all :)) Regards, Thanasis
