How can I delete my Instagram account permanently?

To delete your Instagram account on your phone, follow these steps:
Tap the “Settings” icon on the bottom of the screen.
Select “Accounts.”
Tap “Instagram.”
Tap “Delete Account.”
Enter your password and tap “Ok.

When you go to the Instagram application, there is no “Delete” option. You can delete your account by going to Settings and then tapping Delete Account.
