- Navigate to the Close your account page of the Microsoft website.
- Type the email address associated with your Microsoft account.

How to close your Microsoft Account
Microsoft is a huge company and they want you to be happy with them, so it’s easy for anyone to delete their Microsoft account. All you need is an email address that has not been associated with another Microsoft service, such as Outlook or Xbox Live, and then follow the steps below:
1. Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/login?ReturnUrl=/&locale=en-us (replace en-us with whatever language you use).
2. Click on “Sign out of all services” in the top right corner of the page.
3. Enter your password when prompted, then click “Sign out now” in the pop-up window.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Delete Account”.
5. You will be taken to a page that confirms your Microsoft account has been deleted.
Select the Start icon, select Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts, and then click on Manage. Select the account you’d want to remove from the list, and then choose Manage. On this device, tap Delete Account to confirm your choice. To accept it, select Delete.
Users have a small list of options to choose from. Users must first log in using their username and password if they haven’t already. Select Large icons from the drop-down menu for View by. Now click on User Accounts, then Manage another account and pick the user account you want to delete. Delete the account by clicking Delete or Keep Files (if you wish to keep the user’s files) then next to it, simply click Delete.
Open the Settings menu. Tap Accounts and then eliminate the email account you want to remove. Select Delete Account from the drop-down menu and then confirm your decision by tapping OK. Choose Remove from This Device or Remove From All Devices from the choices below.
Quit Microsoft Teams. Select Quit from the drop-down menu. Delete the contents of the whole folder. nOpen File Explorer and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams into it. nDelete everything in this folder.
Delete the TeamApp account from your PC or laptop. Go to www.teamapp.com on a computer or laptop and log in. Select ‘edit account’ from the options menu and then eliminate it.
To launch the Run box, press and hold Windows + R on your keyboard. To open the User Accounts window, click here. Select your Microsoft account from the list and hit Remove. You’ll be asked if you’re sure you want to remove it; if you do, click Yes and the login will be removed in no time.
On the taskbar, select the Start button. Select the account name icon (or picture) from the left side of the Start menu > Switch user > a different user.
Select File from the top left corner of the main Outlook window. Select Account Settings > Account Settings from here. After that, choose Remove from the drop-down menu.
On your Android device, go to the Quick Access panel and grab the Link to Windows icon. Select a Microsoft account from the drop-down menu. Scroll down until you find Your Phone Companion, which will have your previous used Microsoft account email address listed. Select Remove Account from the drop-down menu and click OK
