How To Remove Payment Method From iPhone
Unable To Remove Payment Method On iPhone Error
Select Payment & Shipping from the drop-down menu. Edit the payment method by tapping on Edit in the top right corner of the screen. If a delete symbol appears on the left side of your payment method, tap it. On the right of your payment method, select Remove.
To remove a card you’ve used on your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay, select the card you want to delete, then scroll down and tap Remove This Card.
Open the iTunes & App Store app on your device. Open Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. Sign in to your Apple ID and change or remove the information as necessary. You may be required to sign in. Select Payment Information, then modify or remove your information as needed.
It’s possible that your existing payment method has run out of credit and needs to be updated. If you just got a new credit card, updating the expiration date and CVV number is all you need to do! Then go to Payment & Shipping, select Apple ID, and enter your password. After that, choose the payment option you wish to change.
If you want to remove your Apple ID payment method, go to Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing > Purchase Sharing and turn off purchase sharing first. To disable purchase sharing, tap Share My Purchases.
In Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or in System Preferences on your Mac, examine the Purchase Sharing options. Turn off purchase sharing: On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap Stop Purchase Sharing. On your Mac with a mouse and keyboard: Click Turn Off next to Stop Purchase Sharing.
