Visit the Plan Management page, click “Report a Problem”, then select and complete a Support Request form. If you are prompted to enter your email address, please use an email not associated with your profile on POF. (ie one that has never been used in or accessed from your account) After completing the Support Request form please wait 24 hours or more before trying again to get a faster response and avoid submitting duplicate reports for cancellation requests. [note: If you have already requested a refund from Paypal and still aren’t seeing one try disabling your ad blocker or adding [email protected] to your trusted sites]
What are my payment options for POF?
In the US / Canada, after activating a 1-month subscription, users will be prompted with an option to upgrade to various monthly plans ranging from $14.99/mo – $34.99/mo (paid at plan renewal). Users may cancel their subscription(s) as outlined in section 1 of this FAQ page, prior to renewal; users may however continue using the site under their current plan until it expires unless they change their account status by changing plans or canceling; see answers to questions 5 and 7 below. Users in other countries have the option to pay by yearly subscription, ranging from $14.99-34.99/year(paid at plan renewal). After an account is created or upgraded for one of these plans users will not be able to cancel it prior to payment; see answers to questions 2 and 4 below
How do I upgrade my plan?
Users may upgrade their plan through the Plan Management page available via a click on your profile avatar > Settings > User Controls > Plans. Clicking “Edit” next to your current plan will allow you to switch between various monthly plans available (active subscriptions only) If you currently have a free account with no subscription active you may also choose any of the paid plans on the same page
What are POF’s billing practices?
To help keep our user base safe, POF requires a working email address and profile information to be entered prior to activating any paid subscription. Subscription payments will be charged to your credit card through Paypal (in US dollars) or Interac Online (for Canadian users). All cancellations must be done through this support portal. In the event that you believe something has gone wrong with your payment, contact the Plan Management team using a valid email from an account not associated with your profile on POF and we will provide further assistance; see answers to questions 1 and 3 If users choose not to enter their personal information at sign up they may still use the site for free, however, they will not be able to access any of the premium features or input into the search system. Subscribing is still optional for users who wish to use POF’s free service
How do I change my email address? How can I verify it?
Follow these instructions on editing your profile information. You must validate that you own an account by answering an automated question. We are unable to provide cancellation assistance for profiles that have no verified email address attached from users who have not verified their email address; see the answer to question 1 below When verifying your email, don’t forget to add [email protected] as a trusted site in order for the verification link and code sent via email to work properly!
I’ve deleted my account by accident, what should I do?
POF does not offer any refunds for accidental deletions. The only way to restore a profile is if you have purchased an add-on within the last 30 days and it has not yet expired; see answers to questions 1 and 3 If you have accidentally deleted your account on purpose then please contact us with another email address associated with your profile so we can help get your account back up and running again ASAP! Before contacting us ensure that your profile is completely cleared out of all personal information such as photos, friends list, messages, etc. or this could prevent us from getting it back up for you. This would also be a good time to remove any credit card info or any subscriptions you may have purchased through PayPal; see the answer to question 1 If your profile has been permanently deleted for violations of POF’s Terms and Conditions, this is final and cannot be reversed.
What do I get with a paid subscription?
All users who subscribe will be able to use all of our current features on POF including search, send/receive messages, upload photos, report abuse, access advanced settings, view members’ profiles, etc. Accessing ‘premium’ features such as accessing member’s private pictures or having your own picture viewed by other members requires a one-time purchase; see the answer to question 1
Do I have to forward my credit cards?
What if I don’t want people to know my credit card number? Are there any other payment options available? How can I update the current payment method on file with my Paypal account for monthly subscriptions?
This is a requirement of our subscription payments, but it can also be used as a security measure against fraud. If you verify your emails and request cancellation at least 24 hours before the end of your subscription then we will refund your money; see answers to questions 1 and 3 Our Sales Team offers additional assistance in this area should you need help processing transactions or would like alternative payment methods; please contact them via email with your account information to get started.
I changed my mind and don’t want to subscribe, but I’ve already submitted my credit card information; what do I do? How long will it take for the transaction to be refunded? Can you help me remove the subscription from my account? Will this affect future subscriptions if I come back at a later time?
Once you provide your payment information via Paypal or credit/debit cards on POF we cannot accept any cancellations; see answers to questions 1 and 3 If you have accidentally subscribed by providing us with your personal details as well then please contact us right away. We are not able to delete transactions that have already been processed on Paypal so they will need to issue a refund themselves.

Go to Plenty of Fish’s registration page, and select the edit settings in order to stop the auto-renewal subscription. Your membership should automatically cancel once your billing cycle ends.
