Your Uber app validates payment for each trip you take. Before requesting a ride, add a payment method to your account using your app.
click Account at the bottom right corner, then wallet in the middle of the screen. You’ll see all sorts of payment methods there. Choose another card or method of payment.
Find the Uber app in the search results and tap it. The app page will open. Scroll down to the bottom of your screen and look for a green UPDATE button. This button is below Uber’s name and logo on the right side of your screen.
Remove or suspend the ability to pay with Apple Pay from that device using Find My iPhone or go to your Apple ID account page and disable the capability using Remove. Login in to your Apple ID account and scroll down until you locate your device. Choose one of the options under Apple Pay: Remove, Suspend, or Permanently Delete, then click either Yes or OK.
To request a ride, go to the app’s Payment area and choose Cash. End your trip by paying cash directly to your driver.
Beyond that, when a payment card number is changed on your account, it’s not possible to correct it. When you delete a payment method from your account and then re-add it as a new payment option, the funds in the selected bank account will be available for use immediately.
