How To Delete A Profile In Netflix Account

How to Delete Netflix Profile on iPhone

I don’t want it to show up as a profile on my TV anymore because I don’t want my kids poking around and triggering any parental controls. But I can’t figure out how to delete it from the Netflix app on my iPad. It’s not under profiles and clicking “manage profiles” does nothing.

You can only remove an activated profile using your computer or by contacting customer service, so the first thing you should do is log into your account via a browser and click Edit next to Manage Profiles. You should see all of your active profiles there that are associated with your account. If you don’t see them, try logging out of the website and back in again—it us two tries before we saw the list update with one of our profiles.

Click the X next to the profile you want to remove, then click Remove Profile. You can also change a profile’s name here if you want.

That removes it from any devices logged into your account, but won’t necessarily remove it from all devices associated with your Netflix account. If you want to be rid of that profile on every device immediately, log out of your Netflix account through each device (we assume this is what you’re trying to do). For example, if you use an Apple TV and Roku, sign out on the Apple TV and then sign back in using your Roku information instead. The next time someone tries to access the removed profile via another device they’ll see an error message indicating the profile is no longer available.

If you still want to remove an active Netflix profile from your device but don’t see it under Manage Profiles, deleting and reinstalling the app could fix the problem. Again, you can only do this with an active profile logged into your account, so make sure you’re signed out of any profiles that are currently in use by another person before deleting the app. Once that’s done, sign back into your account on whatever other devices are associated with that previous version of Netflix (for example, if you have a Wii U signed in using one ID and an Apple TV signed in using another ID). Then go to Settings > Your Account on each device and select Sign Out. That should remove the active profile from your Netflix account. Once you’ve done all this, sign back in with the new information on other devices if necessary, then log into your Netflix account on your Apple TV or another device that has the app installed.

How do I delete a profile on the Netflix app in Europe?

You can’t delete your profile on the Netflix app in Europe, but you can delete your account. However, if you do so it will affect all of your devices.
Most people want to delete their account because they’ve found a better streaming service or just don’t want to be on Netflix anymore. Deleting an account on Europe means that all of the content on every device linked to that account will become unavailable for viewing indefinitely. You’ll also lose access to any method of payment associated with that same account- including gift cards and pre-paid debit/credit cards. If you decide to cancel, please use our cancellation form before signing out everywhere else using the steps below: Be sure not to log into anything else like Apple TV or Playstation until you’ve canceled on all devices.

Why is there a “region” in my Netflix app?

In order to stabilize countries’ cultures and languages, Netflix created a region that would only show content that’s relevant for the country.
This type of account is great if you prefer a specific language or just want to see the newest content from your country. It might be good for people who live in expat communities outside their home territories where they have limited-to-no access to media from their home county. In these cases, it can be hard to find entertaining things on TV or videos on the internet because there’s no one else around with similar interests.

Are there any free VPNs to use with Netflix

Yes. Sadly, Netflix bends to the will of dictatorships and blocks VPNs so all your browsing data can’t get out of their borders. Fortunately, this is illegal in many countries with free speech protections. So there are some that try to get around this by creating a virtual business address in an unblocked country, like Panama or Russia.
