How To Delete AOL Account
Open the Settings app on your phone. Accounts should be listed here if you don’t see it, so tap it. If you don’t see “Accounts,” look under Users & accounts. Select the account you want to delete. Cancel the account removal by selecting it again and pressing Delete Account from the pop-up menu. To ensure security, if this is the only Google Account on your phone, you’ll need to enter your phone’s pattern, PIN, or password.
Go to https://aol.mydashboard.oath.com/delete-my-account in your computer’s web browser and follow the on-screen instructions. If necessary, sign into your account. You can’t get rid of your email account unless you also cancel the rest of your AOL account, which means you’ll lose access to all AOL services, including AIM instant messaging.
