- Select the Start button.
- Select Settings
- Click to Accounts
- Click to Email & accounts.
- Under Accounts used by email, calendar, and contacts.
- Select the account you want to remove.
- Select Manage.
- Select Delete account from this device.
- Select Delete to confirm.

How To Delete Hotmail Account
To delete your Hotmail account, you need to reset the password by using a contact email. If you can’t access this contact email, then there is no other way for you to cancel your account.
Click on User Accounts, then click Manage another account. If prompted by UAC, hit Yes when asked if you want to continue. Next, click a user account and remove it by clicking the Delete Account button.
If you are unable to log in to your Microsoft account, it may be because the account has been disabled. Please contact Customer Support for assistance.
If you have a Microsoft account that no longer exists, then you will need to contact Customer Support for assistance.
You can’t delete your Hotmail account because it is part of the Microsoft family and they don’t allow you to delete accounts that are still active. You would have to send a request to customer service and they will review your request.
You can’t delete your Hotmail 2021 account, but you can archive it. To archive your account, go to the “Accounts” tab on the left side of your screen and click “Manage”. Then select “Archive” from the drop-down menu.
