How do I delete an update on GoFundMe?

After completing the donation, your account will undergo a review process before finalization. Please refrain from making multiple donations in succession–if you don’t see a successful donation after 2 business days, please contact our support team!

Removing your fundraiser means it has been deactivated. It will still show up on your dashboard as “Inactive”. If you are the beneficiary or team member of a fundraiser, please contact the organizer to remove the fundraiser from their account.

1. Select the Campaign Manage view for the campaign you are posting an update to.
2. Locate the ‘Campaign Update’ section. Scroll down to your Activity tab and click on your update. Locate or highlight any posts that you want to delete, then select Delete Selected Posts.

It’s possible that the person who set up the GoFundMe has chosen to delete it. It’s also possible that they have chosen to change the page’s privacy settings so that only those with a link can view it.

GoFundMe does not allow campaigns that are in support of, or related to, the following:
-Individuals with criminal convictions and/or charges.
-Individuals who have been charged with a crime but not convicted.
-Organizations and businesses.
-Religious causes or faith based campaigns.
-Medical causes or treatment.
-Political causes or campaigns.
