How do I delete contacts in Gmail?

Removing a contact from your Google account is a very easy process. First, open up your Gmail account and click on the “Contacts” tab. Once you are in the Contacts tab, locate the contact that you would like to remove and click on it. Once you have clicked on the contact, you will see a few different options appear just above the contact’s information. One of these options will be “Remove from my contacts.” Click on this option and then click on “Remove” when prompted. The contact will now be removed from your Google account list.

To edit or delete a contact in Gmail, open the contact and click “Edit” or “Delete.

Open Google Contacts in your web browser.
Click the “My Contacts” tab.
Select the contacts you want to delete.
Click the “Delete” button at the top of the page.
A confirmation message will appear. Click “OK” to delete the contacts.

In Gmail, you can manage your contacts in a few different ways. You can add contacts one at a time, import them from another email account, or sync them with a Google Account.

When you delete an email address from your Contacts, Gmail will also delete it from your Google account. Here’s how:

Your Gmail account is configured to automatically populate the email address field when you start typing in the “To” field. This can be a handy feature, but it can also be a nuisance if you frequently send messages to different people. Here’s how to turn off the auto-populate feature:
