- From the Home screen, tap Mail.
- Tap the appropriate email account/inbox (e.g., All Inboxes, Gmail, Yahoo, etc).
- Tap the email message.
- To delete multiple emails, tap Edit (located in the upper-right).
- Tap the Delete icon (trash can) located at the bottom.

Go to your Inbox. In the upper-right corner, tap Edit, then pick individual emails to remove or Select All if you want to delete all of them at once. Delete it by tapping Trash or Archive. If only Archive is available, touch and hold it for additional options such as Trash Selected Messages.
Check out Settings > Accounts & Password > account. Tap the “Trash” folder and tick it, then come out of that sequence of popups by tapping on the relevant buttons at the top of them to see if you can now delete emails.
On an iPhone or iPad, open the Mail app and go to your Inbox folder. Select the first email on the Edit menu in the upper right corner. Then hold down the Move button. Remove your fingers from the screen and wait a few seconds while still holding down the Move button.
To begin, open the folder that contains the emails you want to delete. To the left of one message you’re ready to delete, tap the circular contact symbol. When you’ve selected all of the emails you wish to remove, click the trash can icon at the top right corner of your screen.
