- Go to your phone settings. go to apps.
- Go to all apps. find hangouts and go into the information on the hangouts app.
- Clear the app data.
- Uninstall updates(or Uninstall the app)
- If it is not possible to uninstall then disable the app.

You can’t remove your Google Hangouts account unless you delete your Google account as well. Hangouts is integrated into your Google account, which means that the only way to eliminate it is to fully terminate your Google accounts.
You may remove the Hangouts app from your phone or switch to another messaging software. You may re-install Hangouts on your device if you mistakenly delete it.
