If you deregister your Alexa, all of the voice recordings and other information that it has collected will be deleted. You can still use your Amazon account to purchase items from Amazon or use Alexa as a home automation device.
To cancel your Alexa account, go to alexa.amazon.com and sign in with your Amazon account information. Select “Manage Your Content and Devices” from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. On the next screen, select “Your Devices” from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. In the list of devices, find your Echo device and select it.
If you want to delete your Amazon account, log in to your account and go to the “Manage Your Content and Devices” page. From there, select “Digital Content”. You can then choose “Kindle Books” from the list of options on the left-hand side. Next, click on “Actions,” followed by “Delete,” and finally “Confirm.
You can delete the Alexa app by following these steps:

To delete your child’s account on Amazon, you will need to contact customer service and request that the account be closed. You should be able to do this over the phone or by email.
Amazon will also require a copy of your child’s birth certificate before they can close the account.
