- On your web browser, visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- Under the “Subscriptions” section, find the subscription you would like to cancel. Next to it.
- Select Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finish canceling your subscription.

YouTube Music takes over: Google Play Music transfer tool is out
In December 2020, Google Play Music officially stopped working for users. According to a 9to5Google article, users have until February 24, 2021, to download, transfer, or delete their data from Google Play Music after which it will be erased.
Users with a Google Play Music subscription can listen to millions of songs, stream live radio, create their own playlists, and save their favorite music for free. At $9.99 per month, you may access the service’s full catalog of over 30 million tracks.
The app was discontinued in October 2020 and did not allow streaming features. With Google prompting users to migrate their purchased music to another service, the application no longer offers streaming capability. If you want a real download of the content, grab the zip file from Google; according to Google, such data would be removed by the end of 2020, yet it appears to be available at this time.
Your purchases will now be accessible in the uploads area of YouTube Music, which may be accessed by going to your library or looking for search results on the left side tab.
Unfortunately, the official Google Play Music software does not include a way to save your music to your mobile phones at this time. We searched for options in the app settings on both platforms and there were none available.
Download the YouTube Music app for Android or iOS devices. You’ll see a transfer option in the upper-right corner of your screen, which you can click to begin transferring your Play Music history, playlists, uploads, and paid music.
