- Select the Start button.
- Select Settings.
- Go to Accounts.
- Click to Email & accounts.
- Under Accounts used by email, calendar, and contacts, select the account you want to remove, and then select Manage. Select Delete account from this device. Select Delete to confirm.

Swipe over to the menu on the left, then tap on ‘Settings.’ Tap account name and you will see a pop-up asking if you’re sure you want to “Remove Account.”
Open Settings. Tap Accounts under General. Select the email account to delete, then Delete Account in the upper-right corner of the screen. Tap either Delete from this device or Delete from all devices in order to move forward with the deletion process.
To delete a Family Group account, open the Settings app. Select Accounts and then select Family and Other Users. Locate the user you need to remove from the Family group and select Remove User. Tap Delete Account & Data when prompted on-screen then press OK twice in succession.
If you want to change your PC name, open the Settings app and go to Accounts. Select Your email and accounts tab and follow the directions on the Microsoft account page.
It’s also possible to delete your account on Android using Chrome, although this is more difficult than doing it on a computer.
