If you have an outstanding payment, you will not be able to terminate your Uber account. Following the cancellation of an account, Uber may keep certain data as necessary or allowed by law. If you decide that you no longer wish to maintain your account, visit uber.com within 30 days of deactivation to reactivate it.
There is a setting to edit your account information in the Uber app. You can also modify your mobile number and email address there.
