How To Delete Skype Messages
How to remove or delete Skype conversation permanently?
Duplicate conversations on both sides are not possible. Furthermore, removing a Skype conversation from your side only removes it from your record: If your contact revisits her chat history with you, she’ll see the whole thing exactly as it happened.
Delete a contact from the sidebar of the Skype window by right-clicking on their name. You’ll be asked whether you’re sure you want to delete all your conversations with them.
What is this mysterious term? To delete communications on Messenger from both sides, hold the message, choose “More…,” then “Remove” and “Unsend.” What does it mean? The message will be erased from your side of the conversation after you select “Unsend.”
To remove a message, open the conversation you want to delete and go to the individual’s profile. Tap on the message you wish to remove, then choose “Remove for Everyone.” Text indicating that the message has been erased will replace it in everyone’s chat. After a message is sent, it takes up to 10 minutes for you to erase it.
Locate and delete the text message you’d like to remove from your text message program. Then, long-press on the message. A pop-up window will appear. Select ‘Delete’ from the drop-down menu that appears below the pop-up window.
When you block someone on Skype, the prior messages sent to this contact are not deleted. You can see your previous conversation with this blocked person in your Recent list on the Skype application, and you may still do so.
