DISABLE SYSTEM APPS ON KINDLE FIRE
Do you want to remove an app you’ve downloaded on your current Amazon Fire or Fire HD tablet? Simply long-press the app icon on your home screen, then choose the “uninstall option” that appears at the top of the screen after you lift your finger.
To delete applications, go to Settings > Applications Manage applications. To remove a program from your device, tap Uninstall.
The collection of apps on your Fire is displayed. Allow the menu to appear by tapping and holding an app icon. Remove the device by using Remove from Device. A further screen appears, asking you to confirm the deletion.
By selecting the button next to each category to say Blocked, you can limit access to content on the device (for example, “Apps and Games,” “Books,” and “Music”).
Tap the hamburger menu in the top right corner and select Settings Apps. Select the app you want to delete. If “Force stop” isn’t selected, choose it from the App info window. This will put an end to all activities of the program, as well as any future launches.
Tap the Web tab from the Kindle Fire home screen. The Amazon Silk web browser will start. Tap Settings at the bottom of the browser. Uncheck the box labeled Accelerate Page Loading near the bottom of the list.
