How do I force a PayPal account to delete?

Answer

  1. Click on the Profile and Settings button.
  2. Click on Account Settings.
  3. At the top of the Account Settings page, you will see a Close Account button next to Account type.
  4. Click the Close account button to delete your PayPal account.

You can force a PayPal account to delete By doing an immediate withdrawal.

Log into your PayPal Account Go to the Profile Tab Click on Withdraw and select your bank or card Enter the amount and click withdraw Confirm Withdrawal Amount. You would now need to wait for 1-3 business days before withdrawing funds from your credit or debit card, depending on how much you are trying to withdraw.

After this period, you should have an empty PayPal account when it comes to payments. If however, there is still money in your account after that period of time it is possible you may need more than one direct withdrawal – but not always as I have had success with my last 4 attempts at deleting my PayPal account. But this is at your own risk and I cannot guarantee that this will work for you.

What if I have multiple accounts?

There are a number of ways to do this, it depends on the number of accounts you have and how much money you have in each. The first thing that I would recommend is if you only have one account, you should go ahead and just do an Immediate Withdrawal which takes around 3-8 business days depending on your bank and then keep all funds separate not only from PayPal but other financial institutions as well since PayPal holds limited legal accountability compared to other banks. You can also download your statement off of your PayPal Account Settings Page (Log into your account -> Profile Tab -> Settings->Download Statements) You will want to make sure that any refunds or disputed payments are removed from the statement prior to downloading it so they do not affect it.

If you have multiple accounts I would go ahead and first do an Immediate Withdrawal on the account with the most money, then the next highest amount etc. If you happen to have a lot of PayPal Accounts setup, depending on how much total money is in them, I would highly recommend that you wait in order to let each withdrawal clear otherwise a red flag may be raised by PayPal which could result in a “Payment Review” where they can take your money out for up to 180 days (6 months) without any explanation from themselves!

The easiest way to start withdrawing all of your funds is through an Immediate Withdrawal if possible however that does mean that it will take several business days for all of your money to clear. You can also withdraw through a E-Check which lets you transfer the funds right into your linked bank account however this will take anywhere between 4-7 business days as well. If you do not have an existing bank account with another financial institution, I would go ahead and setup one so that you can transfer the money over quickly and easily at any time in the future instead of having to wait several banking days.

How do I get money out of a Personal Account if it is not in my bank account instantly?

Depending on how quickly you need to take the funds out, you have three different options available to you – Immediate Withdrawal (3-8 Business Days), E-Check (4-7 business days) & Instant Transfer (Same Day Deposits). If you select Immediate Withdrawal or E-Check, you will need to submit two copies of your ID and then use the withdraw slip that PayPal sends you after submitting your withdrawal request. You can either use the first copy of your ID & wait about 2 weeks or go to a local bank branch and do it right away!

There are several different ways to do this

1) Go into any branch of Bank Of America/Citibank/Wells Fargo etc. (or any other major banking institution) with a picture ID and request them to transfer funds from an existing checking account over. They will ask you what type of account it is for so make sure you give them the information off the Account Details Page (Log into your PayPal Account -> Profile Tab ->Information) otherwise they will not be able to help you!

2) You can also go into a UPS store, 5/611, Fedex office (or any other shipping company that accepts cash payments) and give them the information. Make sure before you hand them the funds that they have the correct name on their screen otherwise if it is wrong in any way or there is an issue with what bank account you are trying to transfer funds from (etc.) then all money will be lost forever!

From the moment that I took my very first withdrawal until now my experience has been nothing but phenomenal & I would highly recommend anyone already deciding to quit using PayPal for good because of pending issues do it today!

When I first started off with PayPal I researched through several different blogs and decided to pull the trigger on my very first withdrawal in 2009. At this time, there were less than 50 blogs available talking about how to get money out of PayPal if you are an existing seller however since then it has exploded into a giant community that is constantly growing bigger & bigger every single day. There might be some sellers that still do not know about this or have not had serious issues (like being banned/suspended) but for those that do – Please take advantage of this opportunity & make sure you don’t wait until it is too late!
