Select Call and SMS Filter on the application’s main screen. Select Blocked Calls or SMS from the drop-down menu. The status bar indicates if calls or SMS messages are prohibited. More information may be obtained by tapping More on the status bar.
Unfortunately, the answer is no. When you prevent a phone number or contact from messaging you on an iPhone, there is no blocked folder where the messages from blacklisted numbers can be stored, as there is on Android phones. In such situation, you won’t be able to see any of the messages that were delivered while the number was prohibited.
To see and manage your blacklist of blocked contacts and phone numbers, go to Settings > Messages > Blocked Contacts. The Apple Support article How do I block phone numbers, contacts, or emails on my iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? has further instructions.
If you send a message and then block someone, they won’t be notified of the message until you unblock them. The individual will not see the communication until you unblock them, but sending it while they are blocked will not result in anything. Even after they are unbanned, as long as the message was never sent due to being intercepted for delivery, it will have no effect.
To unblock a contact, go to Settings and select the Menu icon. Select Blacklist from the drop-down menu that appears. “Added to blacklist” will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can see whether your messages are blocked by going to More then selecting Blocked in the Messaging app. Blocked communications will be displayed.
If you’ve been blocked, though, neither alert will appear. Instead, there will be a vacant area beneath your text. If you have an Android phone, your best option is to send a text and hope for a response.
