  2. Click the name of the notebook you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete. To remove the deleted files from your computer permanently.
  4. Right-click the Recycle Bin on your computer’s desktop.
  5. Choose Empty Recycle Bin.

Sign in to Office365 with your Rutgers NetID account. Open OneNote on the web (https://www1.rutgers.edu/one), and then choose Delete Notebook from the ribbon at the top of the page. When prompted, select Delete permanently . A dialog box will appear asking you where you want to move all items to before deleting them from notebooks; this includes bookmarks, sections and section groups! Choose Move to trash for a simple backup or Move & delete for removing everything permanently. You can also preview each option by hovering over them with your mouse cursor. To continue, click OK.
