To send a gift card to your Target friends and family, simply enter their email address or phone number after clicking the “Send Gift Card” button in the top right corner of this page, then hit send. You can also select from a specific dollar amount you would like to send between $10-$100.

How do I redeem my Target gift card?

If you received a Target eGift Card as a gift, simply follow these instructions:

Visit target.com/internet-message/, select “Redeem Now,” and enter the code found on the back of your eGift card.

Click “Redeem” at that point. Enter your full name and zip code to confirm eligibility, with the understanding that your purchase total must be equal to or less than the value of your gift card.

The maximum you can redeem at one time is $100, and the minimum is $10. If you have a balance remaining on your eGift card after shopping, you may continue to use it toward future purchases by responding “no” when asked if you want a new eGift card with the balance on it.

How can I check my Target Gift Card balance?

To see how much value is left on your Target Gift Card(s), you will need to login using your email address or mobile number and password. Once logged in, click “My Account,” then select “View My Gift Cards.” From there, you will be able to check your balance and activity.

How do I view my Target Gift Card transaction history?

To see all activity on your Target Gift Card(s), you will need to login using your email address or mobile number and password. Once logged in, click “My Account,” then select the “View Transactions” option next to the gift card you would like to track.

Can I redeem my Target Gift Card at a Target store if I live outside of Canada?

Can I return an item purchased with my Target Gift Card?

Yes! If you have a gift card balance, you may use it to return items that are not marked “final sale.” You can do this in store or online. In the event that you return an item originally purchased with your Target Gift Card online, we will refund your original payment method and issue a new gift card for the value of your returned items minus any initial shipping costs. Please note that in both scenarios, if there is less than $5 left on the card after the purchase or return has been fully processed, then the remaining balance will be forfeited back to Target Canada. Can I use my Target gift card online to purchase a RedCard?

Sorry, no; this gift card cannot be used for purchasing RedCards in Canada. Can I use my Target gift card at the pharmacy?

You can use your Target Gift Card for non-prescription purchases such as over-the-counter medication, personal care items and beauty supplies at any pharmacy located within any of our stores across Canada which accept Visa cards (with a few exceptions). Can I use my Target gift card for purchases online?

Yes – but only if it has a value of $5 or more. You can also present your Gift Card at most Best Buy stores or on bestbuy.ca. You can check your balance and transaction history online, by phone or in store. In order to do so, click here , call us at 1-800-564-0886 (English/French) or visit our Customer Service desk at any Target store. At this time, we are unable to provide you with a printed copy of your transactions in store; however, you may view your statements online using the link provided above.

Can more than one person use a single Target Gift Card?

Yes! Your card can be used by up to 4 people for purchases within Canada. The person whose name appears on the card is responsible for any and all transactions. However, that doesn’t mean they have to be the one using it. For example, if your gift card balance is $100 you can divvy up those funds in advance amongst family members or friends so that everyone receives their portion when making a purchase at Target.

What happens if my Target Gift Card gets lost or stolen?

If your Target Gift Card is registered with us and has been lost or stolen, please contact our Customer Service team immediately by calling 1-800-564-0886 (English/French) or visiting a store location near you. If we are unable to deactivate the card once reported as missing or stolen, the remaining balance will be issued to you as a cash card.

Can I return an item purchased with my Target Gift Card?

Yes, but the amount of your refund will depend on how you paid for the original purchase. For purchases made in store: If you have used a Target Gift Card and would like a refund for any items that were purchased using the card within 90 days from the date of purchase, please return them to a Target store where our team members will gladly provide you with one. We cannot process refunds for gift cards in-store after 90 days from the date of purchase. In addition, if your item is eligible for price adjustment (i.e., it has been lowered since your initial purchase), then we can also process a refund for your original payment method (i.e., your Target Gift Card).
