How to delete your Facebook account FOREVER!
How To Permanently Delete Facebook Account 2020
It’s possible to delete your Facebook account forever, but you can’t do it from the site. It’s a bit more complicated than that.
Instead of deleting your Facebook account through the website, you’ll need to go into settings and deactivate it first. When you deactivate your account, no one will be able to see anything about you on Facebook – not even posts or pictures that were previously set to “Public.” You won’t lose any information while this is happening; everything will stay in place during the process and still be there when (or if) you return. But once deactivated, people won’t be able to add friend requests or send messages until they reactivate their accounts again. Once all activity on your account has stopped for a while, whether it’s two weeks or one year, you’ll be able to delete your Facebook profile forever.
To deactivate your Facebook Account:
“1.” Log into your account and go to settings. To do this, click the down arrow in the top right corner of any Facebook page and choose “Settings” from the drop-down menu that appears.
“2.” Click “General,” which is under the Settings heading on the left side of your screen. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the General page until you see a section called “Manage Your Account.”
“3.” Click “Deactivate Your Account,” which is near the bottom of the page. A pop-up window will appear.
“4.” In the pop-up window, click “Deactivate,” and you’ll be taken to a new screen with additional information about what deactivating your Facebook account means for your privacy going forward.
“5.” Scroll down on this new page until you see a section called, “If You Change Your Mind …”
“6.” Click the blue link in the middle of this section that reads “Reactivate Your Account.”
You can delete your Facebook account permanently and immediately in 2021, even if Facebook does not want you to leave. The distinction between deactivating an account and deleting it is that you will no longer be able to access your stuff or information that you’ve shared on the social network.
To deactivate your Facebook account, you’ll need to start the app first on your Android device. Tap the three-lined icon (hamburger menu).nTap Settings & Privacy. nSelect Settings from the drop-down menu. Tap Account Ownership and Control if it isn’t already selected. Select Deactivation and Deletion from the drop- down menu. Tap Delete Account once again for good measure. nYou’re also going to want to erase your Facebook application for good measure.
After 30 days, your account and all of your information will be permanently erased, and you won’t be able to get it back. It might take 90 days for everything you’ve written to be removed.
Go to your Facebook account settings and then choose “Your information.” Select deactivation and deletion, then click the button. After that, click on Delete Account and Continue Deletion under Permanently Remove Your Account.
