- Open the Snapchat app.
- Log in. Tap your avatar on the top left corner.
- Tap the gear icon on the top right corner.
- Choose Help Center under the Support section.
- Go to My Account and Security->Account Information->Delete my Account.

On any browser, go to the Snapchat Accounts portal page (you can’t remove the account from the actual app). Your username and password are required. Select Log in. Once more, enter your username and password. Select Continue at the bottom of the screen. Done!
How to delete your Snapchat account. To remove a specific account, log in to the accounts portal using the username and password for that user. After you’ve completed the steps to delete your account, it will be deactivated for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
Delete Snapchat using the account portal. To remove your account, go to Snapchat.com and select “Support” near the bottom of the page. Select “My Account & Security” on the left side of the Support page, then “Delete My Account.”
Tap and hold the Snapchat app icon on your device’s home screen, then select the cross symbol. On Android devices running Marshmallow or later, drag the app icon to the Uninstall button.
Select “Account & Security” from the hamburger menu to get started, then open the account information menu and choose “Delete My Account” to start the snapchat account deletion process.
Snapchat assures that your Snapchat Memories will be saved if you uninstall the app. All you have to do now is download the app again and sign in with the same account to access them. It’s not possible to recover Snapchat Memories after those 30 days are up.
