- Insert a paper clip into the hole on the top of the phone.

There is a small hole on the side of the phone near the SD card slot. Use a paper clip or SIM removal tool to poke into the hole and push in the button inside. This will release the SD card tray.
To open the SIM card tray on a Galaxy S9, you will need a SIM ejector tool. The SIM ejector tool is included in the box that your Galaxy S9 came in. If you do not have the SIM ejector tool, you can use a paperclip or a small metal object.
Insert the SIM ejector tool into the hole on the side of your Galaxy S9. Push the SIM ejector tool down until you hear a click.
To eject an SD card from a Galaxy S9, you can follow these steps:
Open the phone’s cover.
Locate the SD card slot, which is on the upper-left side of the phone.
Push the SD card gently until it pops out of the slot.

There is no way to open a SIM card slot without a PIN if the SIM card requires a PIN. If the SIM card does not require a PIN, then it can be opened by gently pushing on the SIM card until it pops out of the slot.
Locate the SIM card slot on your device.
Use a paperclip to open the SIM card slot.
Insert the paperclip into the small hole on the side of the SIM card slot and push until the SIM card pops out.
Remove the SIM card from the slot and replace it with a new one, if necessary.
Close the SIM card slot by pushing it back into place with the paperclip.
