POF allows your account to be suspended and/or deleted. If you delete your account, you can’t log in or access any of the data on your profile.

How to Delete POF Account on Mobile
If you’re using the POF mobile app, keep in mind that removing it from your phone won’t remove your profile! You won’t have the app on your phone anymore, but other people who use it will be able to see your profile. So don’t forget to use the link above to properly and permanently erase your account.
If your profile appears in the search results, it has been hidden by POF. If the profile does not appear, it has been deleted. Another method for determining if your profile is no longer active is to review all of your communications with other users.
Unfortunately, the app versions of Plenty of Fish do not allow you to cancel your membership. To do so on a mobile device, use a mobile web browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Mozilla.
If you’ve ever wanted to remove your profile from other users’ search results, then follow these steps: After selecting the “Edit Profile” link, there will be a line of text that states, “Click here to hide your profile from others.” So go ahead and click this link.
