Why can’t I delete an iCloud alias?

iCloud aliases can be deleted, but it’s not recommended. Deleting the alias will remove all the data associated with that alias from iCloud.
iCloud aliases are a way to have multiple email addresses linked to the same iCloud account. Aliases are not an email address, they are just a label for your iCloud account. When you delete an alias, all the data associated with that alias is also deleted from iCloud.

To remove iCloud alias from your Apple ID, you need to sign in to your account on https://appleid.apple.com/, click on “Manage Your Apple ID” and then select “iCloud”.
You will see the list of accounts associated with your Apple ID. You can remove or disable any one of them by clicking on the Edit link next to the account.

You can delete the IMAP alias by following these steps:
Log in to iCloud.com and click Mail on the top-right corner of the window.
Click Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > IMAP Accounts, select the IMAP account you want to delete, and click Delete Account.

Click on “Settings” in the top left corner of your screen.
Click on “Account Settings.”
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Delete Aliases.”
Select the alias you want to delete and click “Remove.

An iCloud alias is an email address that you can use to send emails to your iCloud account. It’s a good idea to create an alias if you don’t want anyone else to have access to your iCloud account.

Apple iCloud is a service that allows you to store data and other files on the internet. You can use an iCloud alias as Apple ID because it does not mean that you are using another person’s account.

To change your iCloud alias, you can log in and change it under the “My Info” section.

To change your Apple ID email alias, go to the Apple ID website and select “Manage your account”. From there, you can either create a new Apple ID or edit your existing one. To delete an iCloud email address, you first need to log into your account on icloud.com and then click on “Mail” from the left hand navigation menu. From there, you need to select the email address that you want to delete and then click “Remove Account”.
