Thanks for the insight! I have tried to update my Yahoo Mail app and it still does not show a way to view messages in Groups, which is what was most useful. Has anyone found a Group functionality on the new iOS Yahoo Mail app?
or you can use the archive as well. It’s actually faster than searching through a million conversations from several years ago if you’re looking for something really specific. The most recent conversation will be at the bottom but even then if you want to see older ones, just click “show more” or whatever it says when there are more than 10 conversations stored for your search term.

my only complaint about the entire app is that it doesn’t allow you to delete emails directly from the mail list itself. you have to go into each individual email and hit “delete”“. if they could add this in I would be SO happy
@Jenny thank you for your input. I believe that the new Yahoo Mail does not allow Groups at all and has been removed, which was a huge disservice to its users. Can anyone confirm whether or not this has happened? If so, this will greatly affect my use of Yahoo as my primary mailbox. It is also disappointing that there is no archive feature on the iOS app, but auto-archive rules are still present on the desktop app. @Anonymous, thanks for this tip! I like the fact that you can archive messages from search results even if they are several years old and still accessible via your Groups.
Yahoo Mail is now a huge disappointment to me. All my Yahoo groups emails have disappeared after updating, most importantly my gif group where everyone shares their latest creations. This was the group I probably spent more time on than any other place online but no one else has made any comments recently so maybe it was deleted along with everything else? So in short, it’s crap right now and only good for emailing individuals or companies who haven’t realized yet how much better.
