How to Remove Personal information from internet with Delete me
Write an article about how you can delete your me.com email account. You could also sign in to me.com and click on the “delete” button under your name near the top of the page, which will let you remove your account once and to all-keeping it from showing up in search engines or other places that might pop up later on. You may also want to archive your messages before deleting your account so that you still have access to them afterward if need be!
If you don’t have any Apple devices, then just ignore this one. If you do, though, it’s time to give up your me.com email address…or at least move on elsewhere! As many of us know by now, the me.com domain used to belong to Steve Jobs and was first set up in 1997 as part of his other Internet-based activities under the umbrella of NeXTWorld. Originally conceived as mac.com (which would probably best suit Apple’s recent release of its new Mac Pro), it seems that Steve took a liking to .me instead thanks to the infinite possibilities for puns using his surname (“i am”). You can check out our article about why everything became “i” related over here.
Using me.com as your main email address just doesn’t make much sense for most users anymore—especially with Apple pushing iCloud so hard over the past few years. As Apple’s website says, “me.com is now a portal that includes all of Apple’s services.” And it’s quite right too…since you can use me.com to access not only iCloud but also iMessage, FaceTime, Game Center, Newsstand, and even iTunes! So what are you waiting for? It’s time to give up on your sweet @me email address or move along elsewhere so somebody else can have it while you’re at it too!
